Projects
This Common Effluent Treatment Plant for treatment of effluents generated by industrial units in Patalganga MIDC industrial area was conceived as a joint effort between Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, Patalganga and Rasayani Industries Association and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board.
It was decided to set up a public limited company for implementation of the CETP. Hydroair Tectonics (PCD) Pvt. Ltd. was selected as a Joint Venture Partner and a Joint Venture company named PRIA CETP (I) Ltd. was formed for implementation of this project. The project was completed through active cooperation from officials of MPCB & MIDC.

Technical Features
- Scheme approved by IIT, Mumbai.
- Additional benefit of generation of biogas which will be used to generate power and thus reduce the power consumption.
- Plants working on conventional technology would require 620 KBA power.
- Higher loading rates due to anaerobic system and thus smaller unit sizes leading to saving in capital cost.
- Sludge handling by mechanical means : Filter press, Dewatered sludge will be stored temporarily and transported to Government approved designated site.
- Minimal chemical consumption.
- In tune with present Government policy of sustainable development and not limited to meeting discharge standards.
